*Mahanyasam – 5.15 p.m.
*Abhishekam – 6.30 p.m. (Priests & Ritviks will chant Rudram 11 x)
*Alankaram – 8.45 p.m.
*Sahasrarchana with Bilva Patras – 9.15 p.m.
Karthika Masa is auspicious for Shiva. Monday is also auspicious for Shiva. Pradosham is auspicious for Shiva. Put these three together, and Monday becomes one of the most auspicious nights in the year to worship Lord Shiva.
Rudra Namakam, the famous hymn to Rudra, will be chanted eleven times. Devotees may bring milk, unopened bottles of juice, ghee, honey, and bags of sugar.
