Devi Navaratri : Sept 22 - Oct 2
Devi Navaratri, also known as Sharada Navaratri, is a vibrant and deeply spiritual Hindu festival that celebrates the divine feminine power — Shakti — in her many forms. Observed over nine nights and ten days, this sacred period honors the goddess in her various manifestations, including Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati.
Each day of Navaratri is dedicated to a different form of Goddess Durga, and devotees observe rituals, fasting, prayer, music, and dance — most notably, Garba and Dandiya Raas in many parts of India.
The festival is more than just a religious observance — it’s a celebration of resilience, creativity, wisdom, prosperity, and spiritual growth. It reminds us of the inner strength that lies within each of us and invites us to realign with the higher values embodied by the Goddess.
Let us embrace this sacred time with devotion and joy, celebrating the divine feminine that nourishes, protects, and uplifts all of creation.
We are very fortunate to celebrate 11 days of Devi Navaratri, which is rare to happen.

14th Annual Garba Baba Temple – September 21st 2025
On behalf of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin and Sri Venkateswara Temple of Austin, we warmly invite you to the 14th Annual Garba @ Baba Temple.
This beautiful tradition was started by Kokila Aunty and Pramod Uncle, who are no longer with us. Today, their son, Prashant is continuing their legacy. Please join us for an evening of devotion, dance, and joy with a live DJ Jitu from Dallas. Prasad will be served.
